About second-hand Elevator incline conveyors

An elevating conveyor – or incline conveyor or elevator – is used for various purposes. Elevating conveyors can be used to supply a grading machine or to remove waste, fill crates or fill a trailer with bulk goods.   

Elevating incline conveyors are made from two types of material:

  • PVC (often in combination with hard cleats)
  • Rubber (often with a Chevron profile)

Rubber Chevron profiles are often used to when bulk goods such as sand, soil, potatoes and onions are conveyed.

The incline conveyors can be equipped with roller support. This is recommended when heavier products are conveyed or in case of intensive use. If no roller support is available, the conveyor is supported by a sliding plate.

Drive of incline conveyors

Incline conveyors that can be driven by an electric motor, such as a drum motor and a separate motor with sprocket transmission on the roller chain. The advantage to the latter option is that the speed can be adjusted by exchanging the sprocket.
