About second-hand machines for Recycling

The advantage to recycling – whether from an environmental viewpoint or otherwise – is that you need fewer new raw materials. One of the preconditions for recycling raw materials is that they need to be separated before they can be offered for recycling. Many types of raw materials or products can be recycled, such as plastic, compost, green waste, wood chips, metal, batteries, etc. In recycling, various machines are used to separate waste flows according to size, or to clean soil. These include sorting machines and vibratory sieves, also called screeners or vibrating screens. In addition to these, the recycling industry also makes use of bunkers and conveyor belts to store and transport the recyclable material.

Separating waste flows with a grading machine or vibratory screen

To separate waste according to size use can be made of a roller grader, a vibratory grading machine (with a cam) or a vibratory sieve. By using different-sized sieves or adjusting the distance in between the rollers of a roller grader it is easy to filter out objects that are either too large or too small. Depending on the number of grading options and/or outputs offered by a machine, objects of specific sizes can be filtered from the recyclable waste. Machines that are normally used in horticulture or open-field cultivation can easily be deployed as waste sorters too.

Discharge of recyclable materials

Because recyclable materials are not always clean and are supplied in large volumes, we naturally want to reduce the amount of work or handling to the greatest possible extent. Dumping recyclable materials in bunkers and subsequently transporting them on conveyor belts speeds things up substantially, while reducing the number of operations. These conveyor belts and feed bunkers are available in various types and sizes. We always try to retain the broadest possible range of this machinery in stock to meet all your needs.
