About second-hand Crop protection machines
How do I find the right crop processing machine?
On this page, you will find various machines for crop protection. In the left menu, you can filter the appropriate types you need.
There are different methods of crop protection, with the most commonly used machines being cultivators and sprayers. Weed burners and harrows are also often used to optimize the soil. Everything is done to ensure optimal crop growth. The different methods help combat weeds, diseases, pests in crop cultivation, and vegetation management.
Biological Crop Protection Machinery for Vegetables
In organic farming, a conscious choice is made for the environment, nature, landscape, and animal welfare. This comes with a number of concessions. Organic cultivation, for instance, is free from chemical-synthetic agents and artificial fertilizers. Therefore, crop protection does not involve the use of spraying machines, but instead employs natural techniques such as beneficial organisms. However, it may sometimes be necessary to employ additional techniques to protect crops from factors like weeds.
Weeds can be effectively controlled through mechanical means. Thus, no pesticides are required. Mechanical weed control can be achieved using tools such as a weed burner, hoeing machine, interrow cultivator, tine weeders, or weeding bed. To enhance the efficiency of mechanical weed control, many machines can also be configured to perform multiple tasks in a single pass.
SPRAYING EQUIPMENT
With a mounted, trailed, or self-propelled sprayer, you can apply crop protection in the right place, stimulating crop growth and stopping the growth of unwanted plants. Depending on the area and application, you have the choice between a spray boom (available in two versions, horizontal and vertical; the horizontal one for low crops and the vertical spray boom for taller plants) and a spray gun. For large areas, a spray boom is suitable, while precision tasks can be performed with a spray gun. The size of the tank is influenced by the area; a small tank requires frequent refilling, which may take extra time for large areas.
Additionally, there is also spraying equipment for arable farming, often in the form of mounted field sprayers, consisting of a tank and a horizontal spray boom. There are also trailed sprayers, known as trailed field sprayers, which have a foldable horizontal boom and can be efficiently used for most crops.
Please note that the substance to be sprayed can be chemical or biological, and a spraying license is required.
HOE TOOLS
Hoe tools are used in arable farming, vegetable cultivation, and tree nurseries. The hoe tool mechanically removes weeds from the crop. With a hoe blade, it effectively targets larger, firmly rooted weeds. The hoes cut the weeds approximately 1 to 2 cm below the ground. In addition to the hoes, fingers or harrows can be attached to remove weeds more extensively or effectively. These fingers or ridge-formers can also help bring loose soil to the crop row.
