About second-hand Koppert machines

Koppert Machines builds specialised machinery for the cultivation and processing of specific crops. In addition to the machines described below, Koppert produces machines for seeding, harvesting, washing, grading and packaging radishes, carrots, spring onions, cherry tomatoes, baby leaf and lamb’s ear lettuce.

Koppert sowing machines

Koppert builds a variety of sowing machines (also called seeders), ranging from trailed to self-propelled, and for a diverse number of rows. The key component of a seeder is the aggregate, which contains an interchangeable seed disc. Seed discs can be selected to suit the type of seed and according to diameter.

This makes Koppert seeding machines suitable for sowing virtually all types of seeds, whether fine or coarse, including radish, spinach, lamb’s ear lettuce, giant white radish, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, leeks, celery, cauliflower and rapeseed.

Koppert radish harvesters

Another speciality machine developed by Koppert is its radish harvester, in which a distinction is made between harvesting radishes individually or in bunches.

The Koppert fully automatic radish buncher makes bunches of approx. 10 radishes, with tops. The harvester for individual radishes cuts off the green tops just above the tuber.

Both types of machines make use of wires (top lifting clamp belts) that grip the leafy tops to pull the radishes from the soil.
