The HOAF weed burning principle is based on the HOAF Infraplus System, in which use is made of infra-red radiation in combination with hot air. By exposing the unwanted vegetation to this process, the proteins in the weeds congeal and the moisture cells burst open, causing the weeds to start wilting. Several models are equipped with a compressor and a pressure vessel to clean the spray nozzles after burning for increased efficiency in terms of gas consumption.

HOAF KB 4.5 weed burner

The HOAF KB 4.5 has a working width of 450 cm and is suitable for the burning of germinated and shooting weed on seedbeds. Because of the height-adjustable support wheels the HOAF KB 4.5 is also ideal for the burning of, for example, potato leaves. The HOAF KB 4.5 consists of 3 autonomous working burners, each with a width of 150 cm. To transport the HOAF KB 4.5 it can be hydraulically folded up, so it is easy to transport and store the device.
