The paperpot machine is used to produce paperpots. Paperpots consist of cutting soil and adhesive film. This adhesive film is paper and mostly biodegradable. The loose substrades, equipped with powered agitator, is supplied through the hopper. The agitator ensures that the cutting soil is regularly supplied to the venturi. The adhesive film is unrolled and folded around a tube by a folding machine. At the top, the seam is sealed together by means of a heating element. This creates an infinite “sausage” with a specific diameter, and a separate part should be available and exchanged for each desired diameter. At the same time, the substrades is supplied by compressed air. This so-called sausage is cut to the desired length by a blade.

Paperpots are used for growing cuttings and seedlings of flowers, shrubs, trees, vegetables, fruits and arboricultural products. They ensure a perfect development of the roots. Because of this, a Ellepot paperpot machine is a must-have for nurseries.
