Checchi Magli Wolf film planting machine

The Checchi Magli Wolf is a film planting machine that can be used for planting with film, planting in the field or in greenhouses. The planting units are equipped with vertical carousels with planting cups. Through the rotating motion of the carousel, the planting cups make planting holes in the soil, after which the young plants are planted. The machine does not work according to the principle that a planter that pulls a furrow into the ground. The Checchi Magli Wolf film planting machine works perfectly with biodegradable film. In addition, the machine can be used for planting different types of tray plants and compressed clods.

With both the Checchi Magli Dual and the Checchi Magli Top planting machine, two rows can be planted by one person. This way, you need fewer people in order to plant. The distance between the rows with the Checchi Magli Top planting machine is adjustable from 60 cm to 120 cm and the machine has a capacity of +/- 8000 plants per person. The distance between the rows with the Checchi Magli Top planting machine is adjustable from 25 cm to 30 cm and the machine has a capacity of +/- 5000 plants per person.

Checchi & Magli Qubik lettuce planting machine for soil blocks

With the Checchi Magli Qubik lettuce planting machine, pressing blocks with young lettuce plants can be placed in the ground by means of conveyor belts. Each row has its own conveyor belt. With these planting machines for leaf crops, the planting machine belts are filled, by workers, with soil blocks with young lettuce from crates. The conveyor belts then place the soil blocks fairly shallow in the ground. The soil blocks are placed in the ground by grippers of the conveyor belt at an exact distance.

Checchi & Magli film layers

With various vulnerable crops, such as courgettes, sweet potatoes, strawberries and asparagus, it is important that they are protected against weeds, drought and sunlight. This can be done by using film layers. These are used to cover the ground with (plastic or biodegradable) film. With some Checchi & Magli film laying machines it is also possible to form a cultivation bed or ridge in one go, lay irrigation hoses and sometimes even plant directly by means of a film planting machine.

Checchi & Magli bed formers are used to form cultivation beds with a fine soil structure. The difference in flatness, water management and crumbling can be kept very small by using cultivation beds. Due to a very good mixing effect of a bed tiller, a fine finish can be achieved. All this ensures better growth of the crops and their roots.
