Burg fruit box tippers

Box tippers are indispensable during the emptying of boxes. These tippers were designed for the emptying of boxes with fruit and vegetables.

The box tippers were designed to be able to carefully and easily discharge your product from a cubic crate. By means of the dosing system, the vegetables and fruit are carefully moved from the box to the conveyor belt. In many instances, the dosing speed can be adjusted. Whether a box tipper is suitable for a certain type of box, such as a fruit box or potato box, depends on the width of the box.

Burg water dumpers for apples and pears

The aim of the water dumpers is to carefully discharge floating and non-floating fruit, such as apples and pears. Once taken from the fruit boxes, the products can be fed to a sorting machine or packing line. The fruit is unloaded into the water basin, by use of a box lift that carefully immerses the box into the water basin. Apples will float and be moved to the buffer channel, by the flowing water.

Are you looking for water dumper for pears (non-floating fruit)? Then bear in mind that the water dumper has an additional moving base plate in the water basin. And that the box lift can make the box tilt. After the water dumper, usually a sponge dryer or air knife can be found, to dry the fruit, before further processing.

Burg box fillers

The dry box filler is used for the careful filling of boxes with vegetables or fruit coming from a sorting machine or a feed belt. The swivel plate sees to equal and even filling of the box. As such, this box filler is excellently suitable for apples and pears, but also for products like potatoes, citrus, onions, etc. These box fillers are available for one or two box positions. With additional box spaces, the capacity of the number of boxes to be filled, will be increased to 7-9 boxes per hour. This is achievable as empty fruit boxes can be positioned while the other box is being filled, and simultaneously, the full boxes can be removed. As long as the full boxes are replaced by empty boxes, the filling process will automatically run continuously.

In addition to dry box fillers, Burg also supplies wet box filling machines. This type is sometimes called “under water filler”. The boxes are filled extremely carefully with product, while the high filling capacity is retained. This can be realised by filling the box via the water flow that moves the fruit to the box, while it is entirely submerged. This type of box filling machine in generally used in combination with a pre-selection line for the fruit, where the pre-selected apples and pears, deriving from the buffer channels, must be stored in storage boxes.
