Affeldt weighing machines

The Affeldt weighing machines are very fast and accurate, as a result of which they are particularly suitable for smaller packaging. Multiple weighing heads are filled with little weight, by means of vibrating chutes. The computer subsequently calculates which combination of weighing heads is reaching the set minimal weight, with minimal excess. The Affeldt weighing machine can be used for weighing various vegetables and fruit, such as onions, potatoes, carrots, cherry tomatoes, beans, lettuce, cut vegetables or chips.

Affeldt net clippers

Net clippers are mainly used for the packaging of different types of vegetables and fruit in a net packaging, such as citrus fruits, onions and garlic. Usually, one or two Affeldt clippers are connected to one weighing machine. The loose products are fed into the net packaging by use of a tube. The net is rolled up on the exterior of this tube. Subsequently, the net is sealed at the top and bottom, by use of a metal clip. The packaging is also usually directly fitted with a wine glass label. In many cases, a date or other feature can be printed on this label.
